What you will learn at Boehringer Ingelheim:

“Bio Train” is the name of our in-house training facility. Are you ready to learn new things? We offer new opportunities for professional development. All new entrants are provided with the basic knowledge required for success in the biopharmaceutical sector. From theory units to on-the-job training, you will receive a gradual introduction to the work. And at the same time you will get to know the members of your team as well as many new colleagues.

What we offer:

We offer a wide range of benefits and a forward-looking workplace in a growing environment to help you to work innovatively and responsibly for the health of others. We continuously monitor our shift system to achieve the best possible work/life quality for our employees.

“You are provided from the outset with the opportunity and time to learn the procedures. After the six-month introductory phase, you are given new tasks, looking after the equipment, processing documents, etc. This is also a time for learning more about the production environment and the products themselves.”

- Jakob H.

“It is interesting to make different products over the course of the year. The beginning is particularly fascinating, when everything starts up and then, through the different processes, the product volume increases until the final packaging. During this time, there is always the thrilling uncertainty as we check that everything is working as it should.”

- Carina K.

“The practicalities of technical processing are particularly interesting. Because of the different products and manufacturing campaigns and the resultant diversity, shiftwork at BI is always a fascinating challenge. After a certain time, you have the chance to further develop and take on new responsibilities. After just over a year, I’m now involved in change management, starting out as a line manager and planning campaigns within the department.”

- Jakob H.

You can also look forward to a fascinating environment with highly attractive benefits, and a farsighted employer that is currently laying a further foundation for improved health. Join us!
